Eat, Drink and Be Married... Vol 1 Issue 4: I Need to Get My Hair Did! Soon!

Too many looks to choose from... #FirstWorldProblems
Wedding update and post as promised! To all my dedicated readers... I swear my pretentious ass!

And thank y'all to those who do read and click on my posts! I made it to 2,500 views - a 1,000 short from my goal but gotta Dream Big as +Victor Ngo would say- so by May 1st let's aim for 4,000 views!

Ok... Now to the wedding update: not much news from the last post... I'm still not exercising and we still haven't sent our Save-The-Dates to the printers (Heavy Sigh)

But we have been very busy! Big news for all those who have been wanting me to have a baby! And wondering why we finally moved out on our own...

We are pregnant! So there won't be any dieting or exercising from this gal!
I'm telling y'all I make plans to lose weight and then God says, "nope.. I got other plans for you..."

Now, I'm letting y'all know through his forum cause I'm curious to see how many will respond and I wanna see how quick news travels!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just kidding - we didn't move out but I am pregnant! Ok, ok,ok just kidding we did move out but I'm not pregnant! Hahaha: This joke of me being pregnant has been our April Fool's joke every year since we've been together and no one ever falls for it but it's always funny to us... Hoping that the day we are pregnant no one will believe us... It's a huge set-up, if you will - we'll see how it works out!

And to the business at hand - we don't have much of an update on our wedding because we've been busy moving out into our own place... So this one will be short as we try to figure out how to get the 20th century into our place (meaning Cable/Internet)...

I need help deciding... what to do with my hair... for the wedding... I haven't cut or dyed my hair since our trip to Paris (You like how I just dropped that in there +irlanea Luna ) so it's been 8 months! Holy Shit! and that's the longest I have gone without doing anything to my hair! (As you can see from the top pic of the last 7 years)

So help!!!!! What do I do!Cause let's be honest I look good in all hair colors (damn skippy son, toot-toot) Now styles - I think I'm gonna keep it long cause short is egh on my face! So again HELP! Down, up, braid, half up-half down, dyed, not dyed, natural hair color, bangs, side bangs, no bangs, too many options and only one head-set of hair!

That is all,

'Til next Tuesday,

Toodles

PS: I have also placed a picture of some wedding hair ideas below that I LOVE!

FML... I Totally Forgot it was Monnday Today...

I hope everyone had a restful Memorial Day weekend. Mine was jam packed with major accomplishments and lots of love! So much so, that I forgot today was Monday and that I needed to write my blog... And for consistency sake, I am writing to let y'all know to come back June 1st for a Wedding Update...   And that I am thinking about adding some kinda fat girl's guide to feeling and looking good, at least once a month... Every 1st,2nd or 3rd post... I want to try out this challenge I found on Instagram from the Aussie Perth Curvettes! Check 'em out I love theirr Instagram and their blogs! I'm not becoming a fashion/style blog by any stretch of the imagination... BUT I do enjoy looking good and feeling good about myself. And I haven't lately and that is a major part of my anxiety these days. I have been beating myself up and I want to make sure that at least once a month I highlight my many positive attributes! I am also in the middle of planning another trip...

Fatshion 101: Return of National Polka Dot Day

Happy New Year's Y'all! I am happy to be back! I am happy that it's the beginning of the year when the days feel refreshed and reinvigorated. I am not so much of the "new year, new me" attitude BUT a new year does represent a much more glacier pace of life for me. I kinda fell off the face of the Earth or at least my blog since September 2018... October, our birthday month was superbusy, November at work is an insane time and December is for the holidays sooooooo by the end of the year - I am just waiting with bated breath for new years! Aaaaaaaand January is also home to one of my favoritest days of the year! National Polka Dot Day! In honor of the the Polka Dot Queen herself, Minnie Mouse! If it has dots! I want it! I got it! ;-) And dude!!! I celebrated in what I can only describe as pants sent from heaven! They are from Zara and I bought them ON SALE, maybe six months ago and they come in XXL! I fell in love with them the minute I put them on SO ...

Fatshion 101: FAT Is NOT An Insult

This past week I learned that my marriage was attacked and minimized, my body was subjected to meanness but rather than sulk at home and blame all the injustices on someone else - my husband and I followed through with our plans for a Friday game night full of laughs (imagine my husband acting out this song  - because in this home we try our best to laugh off drama) and continued with our V-Day plans for a Saturday afternoon in Carmel with our kids.  So here is my outfit of choice for a day trip to Carmel! And the theme of this Fatshion 101 post: patience ! Sales require patience! If you follow me on Pinterest, you know that I LOVE casual wear, and casual does not mean frumpy! So be prepared to see this denim jacket, purchased at a Levi's outlet, on most of my Fatshion posts;-) It takes on many, many forms.  In this instance, I went with long sleeves and popped my collar for a little flare. This blouse from Madewell, I have been saving for this partic...
