Eat, Drink and Be Married: Introducing Our Semi-Finished Wedsite... Vol 1 Issue 9

Hi Everyone,

So I wished myself a Happy Blogiversary and disappeared... There was an angry post I wrote but I might save that for another day. It's the Holidays and it just feels weird to post my angry thoughts.

And it is safe to say that as much as I would like to be more consistent with my blog - it's gonna be more sporadic than anything, probably until after the wedding.

It hit us really hard this past Friday, on the 28th--- That our wedding is officially FOUR MONTHS AWAY!!!

Needless to say, I have been scaring the crap outta my poor Babo in the middle of the night because I'll wake up in the middle of the night with an anxiety attack!

The nightmares can be anything from trivial regarding plastic untensils(As the MOH pointed out to me, "the woes of my life") to having nightmares of running like a mad woman in my wedding dress and then out of no where falling into the abyss.

We have reached the point of no return and as most bridal magazines have stated, this is around the time that Brides and Grooms just wish they had eloped; at the end of the day all that matters is that we're married. But come hell or high water we're having a wedding and we did knock out some pretty important "To Dos" off our wedding check list in the month of November.

We ended the month with finally choosing the bridesmaids dresses, with one bridesmaid missing - but all we need now are her measurements, measurements that continue to plummet- you go girl - she set her mind to something and she's getting it done!

And finally, tonight, we were able to semi-finish our Wed-site... Wedding-Website...

We have updated some information regarding our location and wedding attire - and by the end of January we will also be including information about Hotels and our joint Bachelor-Bachelorrete party at Disneyland, February 13th-14th.

Y'all are welcome to see our updated wedsite.

That is all,

'Til next time,

Toodles

FML... I Totally Forgot it was Monnday Today...

I hope everyone had a restful Memorial Day weekend. Mine was jam packed with major accomplishments and lots of love! So much so, that I forgot today was Monday and that I needed to write my blog... And for consistency sake, I am writing to let y'all know to come back June 1st for a Wedding Update...   And that I am thinking about adding some kinda fat girl's guide to feeling and looking good, at least once a month... Every 1st,2nd or 3rd post... I want to try out this challenge I found on Instagram from the Aussie Perth Curvettes! Check 'em out I love theirr Instagram and their blogs! I'm not becoming a fashion/style blog by any stretch of the imagination... BUT I do enjoy looking good and feeling good about myself. And I haven't lately and that is a major part of my anxiety these days. I have been beating myself up and I want to make sure that at least once a month I highlight my many positive attributes! I am also in the middle of planning another trip...

Fatshion 101: Return of National Polka Dot Day

Happy New Year's Y'all! I am happy to be back! I am happy that it's the beginning of the year when the days feel refreshed and reinvigorated. I am not so much of the "new year, new me" attitude BUT a new year does represent a much more glacier pace of life for me. I kinda fell off the face of the Earth or at least my blog since September 2018... October, our birthday month was superbusy, November at work is an insane time and December is for the holidays sooooooo by the end of the year - I am just waiting with bated breath for new years! Aaaaaaaand January is also home to one of my favoritest days of the year! National Polka Dot Day! In honor of the the Polka Dot Queen herself, Minnie Mouse! If it has dots! I want it! I got it! ;-) And dude!!! I celebrated in what I can only describe as pants sent from heaven! They are from Zara and I bought them ON SALE, maybe six months ago and they come in XXL! I fell in love with them the minute I put them on SO ...

Fatshion 101: Lilly is Nucking Futs and...

Biscuit Home in Houston, Texas If you didn't already know (shame-on you because I've written about some of my mental-health struggles) about 6 years ago I was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder; To put it in layman's terms I am a constant worrier and trust me, I am putting it lightly. My anxiety monster makes its appearance when money, family, and an overwhelming sense of responsibility overcome any "logical" way of thinking and as much as I love traveling,  my anxiety flares up the most during travel. About 10 years-ago, we went to Nicaragua for New Years and I became overwhelmed, manic, with a sense of an impending death, I purchased life insurance, left letters for loved ones and notes about funeral arrangements. Obviously, I didn't die not unless I did... And this is an alternate universe.. Whoa! That's be trippy... Any who, when our trip was over, I was happy to be home and secluded myself until school started. I sought to reclus...
