Procrastinators of Life Unite... Tomorrow...

I have been overwhelmed in the last few weeks with a lot of transitions going on in my life. And I have been procrastinating a lot in my personal life... But I have finally decided to cut a few people out of my mind and life-ish...by following the whole "out of sight- out of mind" mentality. I know what y'all are thinking??? But didn't I say that I didn't have that many friends to begin with... Well this is why... I can't have people that ain't keeping it one hun-ned! I thought I had made a friend... Who had aligned the same values in relationships- in a sea of singletons I always felt like the odd woman out by being in an relationship- Long story short- I would rather treasure and nurture genuine jewels that I have harvested over the years than to have a dozen of cubic zirconias surround me... Preach! And I say procrastinate because I've known for a while that I didn't wanna be friends with these individuals anymore but I ...

There's a Third World Country on Story Rd... The Jungle...

Story Rd and Keyes... Across the street from Happy Hollow Jokes aside folks... As I write this I am kind of regretting the name of my blog... because this past weekend I realized how blessed I am... In every sense of the word and in every possible thought of living. The name of my blog was meant as a satire... a hyperbole and in some aspects of my life true-ish... BUT this weekend, I can't tolerate jokes, (not even my own) not after what I saw, literally in San Jose's backyard. Here's the back-story: In college I discovered my calling in life and that was to give back to my community. "Pay it forward" I grew up in East Side San Jose, in what ignorant folks like to call the "ghetto." I grew up knowing that my neighborhood wasn't an ideal place but I was raised to have respect for myself and my surroundings. And I have always accredited my family to my successes. But another major influence in my life were my teachers and the many after-sch...

I Like Watching TV But I LOVE Commercials...

Sorry folks...But I am REALLY TIRED!!! And all I could think of was sharing my five favorite commercials -at the moment- mainly because I am in desperate need of a good cry and a hardy harhar laugh! I attempted to binge watch TV this weekend thanks to xfinity's watchathon offer but couldn't because had too much crap to do... Work and family stuff... Hopefully by next Tuesday I will have recovered... but probably not... it's gonna be another busy weekend with more crap to do... again work and family stuff... and then a really loooooong Monday... But Monday will be worth it because I have been invited to join  an Advisory Board... so yay me! Anyways, I am the kinda person that forgets about my DVR, that I can fast forward through commercials, mainly because I enjoy the commercials more than I enjoy the TV show I'm watching... for instance, I die! Like die! for Disney-Disneyland commercials!  here's one that just had me running around the house like a mania...

Yeah...I'm a Daddy's Girl and he's a Momma's Boy... But We Wouldn't Have It Another Way...

Our first place... At my new desk... Our breakfast nook- My last post was short and sweet... But it packed big news! So in case y'all didn't read it (SMH...cause you should be reading it- tis-tis) +Victor Ngo and I have moved out! Finally! After almost seven years of dating, traveling, family gatherings and an engagement- We finally did it! And it's proving to be super eye opening for the both of us. (In a good way... for now at least... and let's hope it continues to be for example he makes the bed when I leave to work before him! I know no big deal for some but he gets me and knows that i can't function if my bed is unmade) As mentioned earlier, we have been together for almost seven years (in May it'll be seven years)And we have traveled together for long periods of time, so we kinda knew each others nuisances. And now we're getting to know more of them...hehehe...Like I'm a night owl and he's a senior citizen! And we like to cuddle s...
